Shipping Policy and Care Instructions

We share your concern with the health and safety of your employees and customers, thus we introduced our Social Distancing plexiglass barrier solutions. Whether your business is currently open, or working remotely and plan on returning to business soon, we all must share in being socially responsible.
Shipping Policy:
All orders are processed and shipped within 36-48 hours (3-4 days).  Most orders are delivered within 7-10 business days.  FedEx is the carrier of choice, the delivery may be FedEx standard ground or LTL pallet, depending on the number of units ordered.
If you are ordering a larger quantity of items and want to reduce potential shipping damage, our manufacturer has a pallet option that bands the units together on a pallet.  Please make sure that your facility can accept a pallet delivery and advise at the time of order. 
Deliveries can occur on weekends, advise if receiving personnel will be available to receive.
Due to current events, the manufacturing process may be delayed due to prior orders.  In this case, we will advise of any shipping delay.
Shipment to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses:
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Shipment Confirmation and order tracking:
Shipment tracking numbers will be sent to you via email or phone contact.
Customs, duties, and taxes:
Plexability Chicago LLC is not responsible for any customs and/or taxes applied to your order.
All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Damages:
Plexability Chicago LLC is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping.
Do not return damaged merchandise without contacting our office. Please inspect all contents immediately for damage upon arrival.  If box damage is found at the time of delivery, advise delivery personnel and not it on their receipt.  If the contents are damaged, notify our office at 630-568-3457 no later than five (5) business days following the receipt of your order.  We are available between 9 am - 6 pm, Central Time.
 
Please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.  We will assist as possible.
It is critical to take pictures of any box damage prior to opening the box and forward these pictures with your claim.  Also, take pictures of any damaged product. Note: Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
 
For LTL deliveries, you must make a note on the driver's delivery receipt for any and all visible exterior damage.  If additional damage is discovered after opening the package, damage claims will only be accepted if a note is made on the paperwork. Otherwise, the carrier may deny the claim. 
International Shipping Policy:
Plexability Chicago LLC does not ship internationally.
Returns Policy:
For Sneeze Guards, Plexiglass Barriers or Shields, and other Covid-19 related items, we are not accepting returns or cancellations at this time.
Product Exceptions to Returns Policy:
We do everything we can to complete customer custom requests according to your explicit instructions.  Since customers approve custom orders in writing, unless there is a production error requiring product replacement, all products ordered are considered FINAL SALE.
Changing or Canceling Orders:
Once an order is placed, it is processed immediately to ensure fast turnaround times.  A placed order cannot be changed or canceled.  Please contact us at 630-568-3457 if you have an urgent case.
Other Terms and Conditions:
All Plexability Chicago LLC items are produced to meet "Industry Appearance" standards, defined as finished products having small variances and slight imperfections, which are considered acceptable if not visible from a distance.  These do not result from the fabrication process but rather from allowable variances in the production of acrylic and other raw materials.
Plexability Chicago LLC is not responsible for any injuries caused by the use of our products.  Our products are manufactured from industrial materials that need to be handled with caution and care.  Note: Intended for commercial and industrial use.  Customers are responsible to verify compliance with local laws.
Hygiene Barrier and Plexiglass Care Instructions:
What you will need:
  • Microfiber cloth or 100% cotton cloth (x2)
  • Water (preferably distilled)
  • Dish Soap
      Step 1.     Start by gently dusting the surface removing large debris to prevent scratching.
      Step 2.     Mix the water with soap, and soak one of the cloths with the solution.
      Step 3.     Gently wipe the acrylic with the wet cloth.
      Step 4.     Once the surface has been cleaned, gently use the dry cloth to dry the surface.
                     Note - Isopropyl alcohol (70%) mixed 50/50 with water is an alternative to dish soap.
NOTE:  Avoid ammonia-based products, like Windex or other glass cleaners as they will damage the surface leaving it with a cloudy appearance.
Removing Clear Mounting Tape Instructions:
What you will need:
  • WD-40©
  • Goo-Gone©
  • Plastic scraper (example - credit card or plastic scraper used for drywall repair)
  • Microfiber or 100% cotton cloth
     Step 1.     Apply enough WD-40© to the tape to saturate.  Let sit for 5 minutes.
     Step 2.     Using plastic scraper (or card), starting at a corner to peel up the tape. 
                    Using a sawing motion, scrape the card/scraper under the tape until the majority
                    of the tape is removed.
     Step 3.     Saturate the remaining adhesive tape area with Goo-Gone©.
     Step 4.     Scrape the surface again with the plastic card/scraper, or scrub with a cloth until
                    adhesive removed.
