ABOUT Created During Unprecedented Times...Thanks for stopping by and reading the About section of our website! My name is Cliff Miller, I founded Plexability Chicago out of the desire to help others, as that has been the basis of my years in business. I had the privilege of holding GM and Operations Director positions in home improvement for 15 years. Essentially this was oversight of $80,000,000 of thousands of residential projects with a referral rating of 94%. This was the result of applying simple principles - work with integrity, communication, and action; Always provide high-quality products and give extreme customer service. These same principles are the cornerstone of Plexability Chicago. I understand and relate to your desire to keep your business open and profitable, and at the same time...safe for employees and customers! What's In It For YOU... Your project may be simple or complicated. Regardless of revenue amount, both you and the project are important to us for our continued success is based solely on your satisfaction. YOU will always receive...
Thank you in advance, we appreciate your business! |
What's In a Name?PlexAbility: Derived from "Flexibility", often defined as the ability to bend easily, or a willingness to change or compromise. Chicago: For those that are familiar with the Chicago area, I was born in South Shore, around 71st and Jeffery. Having moved away after college, I always dreamed of returning to my roots as there is no place like Sweet Home Chicago! In late 2011 I was able to realize that dream, and currently reside in Willowbrook, IL. |
PlexAbility Chicago LLC is fully registered and licensed by the State of Illinois, Department of Revenue, and insured. |
With the Pandemic, we have seen businesses close and others helped each other through the struggles that continue today. One of these that chose to help was the Fifty/50 restaurant group, who was at the forefront of helping front-line and restaurant workers with food and necessities. Having a successful business prior to the pandemic, Scott Weiner and Greg Mohr set a precedent in responding to a crisis. The opportunity to help them came in the form of their need for Plexiglass barriers in restaurants as part of the CDC and OSHA recommendations for Plexiglass barriers when people Social Distanced less than 6' apart. The main company I partnered with in Chicago has what I consider to be the best quality products to meet the requirements.
There are many businesses in all industries that benefit by using our Plexiglass Shields, Barriers, and Partitions. Let's face it, you can source plexiglass products online from anywhere. In some applications, inexpensive plexiglass panels work fine.
To mitigate risk, other applications require more substantial mounting or panel support. We are unparalleled in form, fit, and function.
The hardest part of any manufacturer-direct business is finding the right partner. We have done that with our selections! One partner is a trade show display manufacturer who designed and manufactured signage, and many of the outstanding trade show exhibits (when we used to go the see them). When the Pandemic arrived, they switched direction and addressed the need for PPB, Personal Protective Barriers, also known as Sneeze Guards, Hygiene Barriers, and more. Below are some pics of their manufacturing facility:

I appreciate and believe in the design of our standard products and custom-designed barriers.
As you and I both rely on a quality product and easy installation, all custom jobs are reviewed by a support team of engineers to ensure design tolerances are within specifications. After all, their name is in the product as well! We are lean, utilizing a remote sales office that saves us both costs. These savings are reflected in low pricing for high-quality products. In-Person appointments in the Chicago and Chicagoland suburbs, all appointments performed with Social Distancing measures and PPE. Out-of-area appointments via email: please send your contact information, drawings, pictures, and dimensions for a no-obligation estimate to sales@plexabilitychicago.com |
